Just in: George Pickens and the position coach of the Steelers at odds?
After just a few days of training camp, wide receiver George Pickens of the Pittsburgh Steelers appears to be having problems. Pickens and recently appointed wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni got into a violent argument at the team’s first practice, according to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Fittipaldo stated on the North Shore Drive Podcast, “It happened on the second-to-last play of practice.” “George Pickens did not perform his assignment well on that play, and Zach Azzanni, the new receivers coach, let him know about it.” Since Pickens was chosen in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he has been treated like a kid, although Azzanni obviously has a different style.
